Sonoran Spirit is the candle that started it all—the first scent we ever poured and the spark that ignited Trail & Ember. Its inspiration came during a fiery Arizona sunset on our high desert ranch, where the sky erupted in streaks of red, gold, pink, and violet as the sun slipped behind rugged horizon lines. Our RV sat tucked among juniper, sagebrush, and spiky desert cacti, the air alive with that unmistakable high-desert blend of earth, heat, and wild possibility.
We had just returned from a long Pacific Northwest run, settling into the quiet hum of nomadic life. A campfire crackled beside us. Coffee brewed inside. And in that moment—surrounded by the raw, untamed beauty of the Sonoran Desert—we felt the spark of a bigger idea: What if we could bottle this feeling? The freedom. The grit. The soul of the journey. That night became the beginning of Trail & Ember.
